Today, the UK-China Tech Forum (UK-China Tech Forum), co-sponsored by CBBC and TechUK and co-organized by the UK Department of International Trade, was successfully held online. With the theme of "Digital Transformation and Sustainable Technology", the forum focused on the opportunities and challenges of China-UK technological innovation cooperation in the post-epidemic era. It invited representatives from the Chinese and British governments, industry organizations, and technology companies to discuss in depth how to innovate digitally. As a key driving force, further release the development potential of the two countries in joint research and development and business partnerships.

As a representative of Chinese companies, AGR Technology co-founder Zhong yongsheng was invited to attend and introduced how Chinese companies use agricultural technology innovations to protect nature and empower rural development, and actively share how AGR works with British academics and government agencies to cope with global challenges. Cooperation Case.

As an important link to promote human well-being, economic profits, and sustainable development of the global environment, agricultural technology innovation is an emerging field that China and the UK are focusing on, and is regarded as a new growth point for economic recovery. Unlike British agriculture, which is dominated by large-scale operations and large-scale ground machinery, China's small-scale peasant economy is limited by the scale of land and complex terrain, and mainly relies on manual labor for farmland management. Although the two adopt different agricultural production models, they also face a series of challenges brought about by the increase in food demand, including social development issues such as the massive loss of agricultural labor, the aging of the rural population, as well as climate warming, decline in biodiversity, Ecological problems such as excessive use of pesticides and fertilizers and degradation of arable land.

As of August 31, 2020, AGR's smart agricultural products and technologies have served approximately 8.72 million rural households, and more than 50,000 agricultural automation equipment are being used in unmanned operations in 42 countries and regions. In the past two years, by using environmentally friendly electricity instead of tractor diesel consumption, AGR has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 368,063 tons to meet the challenge of climate change. Based on the industry-leading precision spraying technology of drones, AGR has saved 5,090,000 tons of agricultural water, reduced the use of 22,100 tons of pesticides and fertilizers, and created emerging employment opportunities for rural youths such as drone trainers and operators.
