Compared with rice, wheat, corn and other crops that have been used on a large scale in the north for fly defense, fly defense of fruit trees is still a blue ocean market that needs to be developed urgently. According to the "2018 China Statistical Yearbook" issued by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's fruit tree planting area reached 167 million mu. In 2019, Guangxi's citrus cultivation area reached 8,323,500 mu, ranking first in the country in citrus area and output.
At present, the degree of mechanization of fruit tree planting is low, and it is difficult to find labor for orchards. With the emergence of problems such as the aging of the population and the shortage of labor for young and middle-aged people, the maintenance costs of orchards have increased rapidly. As an efficient operation tool, the plant protection drone can adapt to the scattered planting area and the orchard environment with complex planting terrain. It will also effectively alleviate the problem of labor shortage. However, how to standardize the flight control of fruit trees and how to ensure the effect has always been a pain point in the industry.
This time, the joint test between AGR Agriculture(Hangzhou qifei intelligent technology Co.,ltd)and Guangxi Sinochem Wuming Citrus MAP Center will further explore solutions to the difficulty of flying prevention of fruit trees. In view of the problems of fruit trees that are difficult to penetrate and manage well, the test parameters are used to find the best solution. At the same time, the test data will be used to upgrade the UAV fruit tree model and provide data reference for the later promotion of fruit tree flight defense.
