It is an important period for spring planting and spring pipes. On March 26, the Agricultural Machinery Center of Xingbin District, Laibin City held a 2020 UAV Sugarcane Plant Protection Live Demo in Ma'an Village, Mengcun Town. More than 30 people, including agricultural machinery technical extension personnel, representatives of agricultural machinery cooperatives, large sugarcane growers and surrounding agricultural machinery households, attended the demonstration.
At the demonstration meeting, the technicians explained the characteristics and operation methods of drone spraying pesticides to the on-site personnel, focusing on the operation mode of the plant protection drone and the on-site drone sugarcane plant protection operations. Through the on-site operation demonstration, the participants had a more intuitive understanding of UAV plant protection. It is reported that it only takes 12 minutes for drones to plant protection of 30 Mu of sugarcane area, which greatly improves the efficiency of plant protection operations and saves labor costs.
Currently, there are 14 drones registered in Xingbin District, and the subsidy for drone operations is 5 yuan/mu/time.
