For example, corn armyworm should be controlled before 3 instars, and rice stem borer should be controlled before drilling holes.
Choose pesticides

The special operation method also makes it different from other plant protection machinery in the choice of medication and dosage form. In terms of pesticide selection, the following points should be observed:
Agents with high efficiency, low toxicity, low residue, low environmental impact and safety to natural enemies should be selected;
According to the principle of resistance management of pests and diseases, pesticide varieties should be selected, scientifically rotated, and pesticides should be mixed and used;
Agents that can uniformly disperse suspension or emulsification at low dilution multiples should be selected. Agents that are prone to sedimentation, flocculation, or precipitates that block the nozzle should not be selected, and tank-mix compatibility should be tested before use;
Appropriate control aids should be selected to promote the settlement of the chemical liquid and the expansion of the chemical liquid on the surface of the crop leaves to improve the control effect;
The agent should be selected under the low dilution factor, which has no adverse effect on the crop, and the agent that may cause the risk of burning, slowing the growth rate, and reducing the yield of the crop at this concentration should be avoided.
