However, after adding a certain amount of additives, only 85% of the conventional dosage can achieve a relatively good control effect. It shows that although plant protection drones are not much different from manual pesticide application in terms of prevention effectiveness, they have obvious advantages in saving time, labor, and labor, and are safer for the sprayers.

In order to reduce the density of citrus psyllids and ensure the prevention and control effect of Huanglong disease, Liuzhou City, Guangxi has also conducted an experiment on the prevention and control of citrus psyllids by plant protection aerial spray in the main citrus production area of Liuzhou. The test used Nanfeng mandarins aged 5-7 years as the test object, and set up four pesticide application methods: single-rotor plant protection drone, multi-rotor plant protection drone, manned helicopter, and backpack power sprayer. The level is consistent. Under the same environmental conditions and the same medication regimen, the three methods of using single-rotor, multi-rotor plant protection drones and manned helicopters are all effective in controlling citrus psyllids, all exceeding 85%. Among them, the single-rotor plant protection UAV has the best control effect, which is even higher than that of the knapsack power sprayer; the multi-rotor plant protection UAV has the same prevention effect as the knapsack power sprayer; the manned helicopter The prevention effect is slightly lower than that of the knapsack power sprayer. It shows that the plant protection drone not only has high operational efficiency and strong safety performance, but also has a very impressive control effect. Used in a large area of citrus planting areas, it can well solve the spread and spread of citrus psyllids caused by uneven control time.
